Our Mission
We created this site primarily to help charities through the donation of our fine art photographs. It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. We like to think that the right picture, in the form of a donation to a charity, can be worth a thousand dollars.
All of our fine art images are available for donation to qualifying charities by Michael Anderson and Lori Anderson. Priority is given to charities operating in the Pacific Northwest for the benefit of children and historical preservation. We have a decade long record of helping many charities through donations of our fine art pieces for fund raising events, oral auctions and silent auctions. Our support of charities will continue in the future and we do our best to make a difference for our favorite charities. Our fine art images are also available for purchase by the public.
Donation Requirements
- Qualifying charities must provide proof of a 501(c)(3) determination by the Internal Revenue Service.
- Donations of framed fine art are limited to Oregon and Southwest Washington.
- Charity auction items are subject to a minimum reserve price to ensure that the donations provide value to the charaties.
- We reserve the right to withhold our support to a charity and to modify these terms at any time.
In addition to our donations to favorite causes, our fine art images are also available for purchase. They can be framed for display in galleries, printed as notecards and the framed images can be used to decorate homes or offices. We have plans to add a catalog for on-line purchases but for now purchases can be facilitated using the email address provided below in the Get In Touch section of this page. Charities can also contact us regarding our donation of fine art, however, donations of art are restricted to Oregon and Southwest Washington.
Michael Anderson also belongs to several photographic clubs and associations. As a result, he knows and is friends with many photographers around the world. He enjoys helping his fellow photographers by providing answers to their questions and leading workshops and photo trips. He also offers his services to help photographers edit their own photographs for competition or sale. Because post processing photographic images can be a time consuminig task, an hourly fee is charged to provide thoses services. However, Mr. Anderson offers his services to history-based organizations in the restoration of photographs that document historical events. In respect to historical projects, Mr. Anderson has taken and restored photographs for publications. More about these services are provided in the Services section of this site.
